Service NI Device Loader isn't starting automatically

Have got one PC configuration where the Service 'NI Device Loader' (nidevldu) isn't starting automatically although it's configured.

Updating/repairing all the NI software (Device drivers, etc.) didn't help.

If the service isn't started, certain devices are not working together with DAQmx. Once the service is started manually, everything is working well, till next time booting the PC.

Someone got an idea ?

Hi,

it seems that for some reason, the service is being stopped every time you restart your computer. Could you start the service and then set it to manual (so that it is not stopped automatically) and restart the computer. Then set the service back to automatic and restart the computer again.
For some reason there is a registry setting, which is causing the service to stop everytime you rebooted. This could have been caused because of an improper installation. Changing the service manually may reset the settings to the way it should be.
Let me know if it worked.

Thanks Diana,

Right, the service stops at booting (error message: 'The process terminated unexpectedly (1067)').

Modified the recovery settings to 'Restart the service' after First (second) failure. This works, but I still don't know the reason for the error above mentioned.

Hi Diana,

I deleted all the MAX-database previously, but no improvement.

Anyway, I had to ship the station as it is - so I can't do any further investigations. Hope it works so far.

Thank you for your support.

I had a similar problem with NI MAX 17.5.0 as installed with the 2017 Developer Suite.  This worked to resolve my issue where repairing the installation did not.  Thanks!

Cela ne fonctionne pas. Windows 11 C'est "Outils Windows" et pas "Outil administrateur". Le service "NI Device Loader" n'ai jamais démarrer. Problème toujours en cours
