Hi Chris,
How is the "LabVIEW Group Solve" session going to work?
Are we just going to describe challenges and verbally suggest solutions?
Do you want code examples of challenges?
Do you expect people to bring laptops and have go at implementing solutions?

Hey Troy!
Great question. Apologies for the slow response.
My plan is thus:
People can submit a topic to discuss here - or email me, or just rock up on the day with a suggestion. It could be an issue with an application they're working on, or perhaps a new design pattern they're learning, or just want to know more about best practice in a given area.
Offering a solution is also open to the group - it won't be just me trying to present a solution - anyone who knows the answer can demonstrate a solution, or an approach to the problem. We will use a communal LabVIEW machine (nominally my laptop) to do this. Extra laptops with LabVIEW installed wouldn't go astray, but is not crucial.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,
I registered for the NI days next Tuesday a few weeks ago and have not noticed a response yet.
When are you hoping to have your meeting session. I have regained heaps of enthusiasm for Labview and discovered a great training page online. Unless I am mistaken I did not notice an opportunity to take the CLAD exam which usually features on these days...
regards
Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting.
Please contact NI for confirmation of your registration.
The LabVIEW User Group Meeting will begin at about 10:30am, or straight after morning tea. It will conclude at 12:30 (Lunch).
The free CLAD exam is usally a feature of the NI Technical Symposium. This is usually held in October, so keep an eye out for it then. There is however a CLAD Exam Preparation session on at Developer Days at 12:30pm. Go here for full details: http://australia.ni.com/devdays.
See you next week!
Regards
Chris Farmer
