I am trying to connect the MID-7604/7602 motor drive to my computer in order to use LabVIEW in my stepper motor control. The driver comes with a vhdci 68 pin port for motion i/o control. My issue is that I understand that the driver is supposed to connect directly to my computer but the computer does not have this port to use a vhdci to vhdci cable for connection. Is there an adapter or cable of some sort I should be using instead to establish connection or should I be using a third party (a second driver etc.) to connect the driver to and then this would connect to the computer?
