6024e and amux-64t sample rate when measuring voltage

Hi, I am currently using the 6024E and Amux-64t to measure a known voltage through LabVIEW. However when I display the readings in a waveform graph, I see a sharp sinusoidal waveform with peaks of the known voltage. My question would be that do I have to set the sample rate and sample size to a certain ratio for me to receive a flat constant voltage of what is expected?

I am using the Legacy Traditional DAQ driver.

It sounds as if you are not demuxing the data. I'm not that familiar with the amux but a quick search turned up this so if you want to read a single channel, you need to use the correct channel syntax.
