AOs on SCB-68 and PCIE-7841R/PCI-6259

Solved!

Hi,

I have two card PCI-6259 & PCIE-7841R and of course need connector blocks for them. The NI's sugestion is SCB-68 for both. The problem is that I need 4 and 8 Analog Output but it seems that on the SCB-68 connector block,  there are just 2 AO (As attached). How can I have more AO on the block?

Regards

As far as I know, for the 6259 you will need 2 scb-68 boxes.  For some reason NI put 2 outputs on connector 0 and the other 2 outputs on connector 1.  Basically it looks like they put 2 boards into 1 card and each board has 2 AO's each with their own connector.  Probably easier to build that way.

You might get lucky with the 7841R, it looks like all the AO are on connector 0.  Double check your manual though.  If that is true, just match the pin numbers on the scb-68 and ignore the descriptions on the sticker.
