Most devices do not include any kind of anti-aliasing filter. Because the filter must be adjusted to match the bandwidth and sampling rate settings, an extremely wide range of filters would be required. Continuous (analog) filters with that kind of adjustment range are very impractical. Digital filters generally cannot be used as antialiasing filters because they are themselves sampled data systems and are subject to aliasing just like the A/D converter.
