Hi Miriam,
I am a little new to the ELVIS II+ and IEPE accelerometers, but how would I provide a constant current source to the accelerometer and be able to read the signal if the accelerometer only has one BNC ouput. Would I connect the accelertometer output to a BNC input on the prototyping board, run +/- 5V rail for my input range to the the same row, along with a 2mA constant current, and then attach that row to an analog input which could be read in Labivew?
Sincerely,
Yogi Patel

Hello Yogi,
You actually can't do it using the ELVIS II+, you could do it using the NI USB 4432. To measure IEPE Sensors your need special signal conditioning that not all of our DAQs have available.
