Can not build an installer, as I seem to have deleted the required files

Solved!
Go to solution

LabVIEW cannot locate the source installer for a component necessary to build this installer. LabVIEW last located the missing component in the following distribution:

Distribution name: NI-DAQmx 8.6, Disk 1
Last known installation path: C:\National Instruments Downloads\NI-DAQmx\8.6\NIDAQ860-1

Please locate the source installer for NI-DAQmx 8.6, Disk 1 and build your installer again.

Visit the Request Support page at ni.com/ask to learn more about resolving this problem. Use the following information as a reference:

CDK_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller >> CDK_Build_Invoke.vi >> CDK_Engine_Main.vi >> CDK_Engine_Build.vi >> CDK_Engine_PromptForMissingDist.vi

I think I must have deleted the required files from my C drive.

(Update)

This is now fixed.

I have managed to sort this out, by a combination of downloading NI-DAQmx 8.6.1 from the NI website and installing NI-DAQmx 8.8 from disks.
