Customized connector boxe

Hello all

We are planning to use 07 no of PXIe 6368 DAQs simultaneously on 09-slot PXI Chassis for sampling around 100 analog channels. One problem we are seeing is the number of connector blocks i.e. 14 if we use NI recommended connector blocks.

Is there a possibility to provide a rack mounted customized shielded solution like  BN C2144 which can provide 100 BNC connectors for analog channels of PXIe 6368 and some for Digital signals like triggering etc

It's unfortunate that the analog inputs are spread across both 68 pin connectors. Otherwise, you could use the bnc-2090. So, you'll have to go the custom route. There are thousands of companies that can do that with a schematic you provide or even an entire design. You'll want a company that can do a low volume order. I would suggest you start by checking how your company's products are being manufactured.

Thinking a bit more about this, you might be able to use a custom cable with the 2090 where a single 68 pin connection is split into two connectors that you plug into the DAQ card.
