DAQ Assistan cant find physical channels on USB-6009

Hi, I am very new to LabVIEW and working through the "getting started" tutorial.  I have the NI USB-6009, and am following the instructions in chapter four of the tutorial to interact with the device.  When I run the DAQ assistant, and select acquire signals / analog inputs / voltage, the program says  "reading system configuration, please wait".  However, it just stays like that.  I do have the device plugged in and can get responses out of it using "Measurement and Automation".  Any ideas?

Hello Kyle,

What version of Labview and DAQmx are you currently running? I have had that issue myself before, but restarting my computer fixed that issue. Does this issue persist all the time for you?

Thank you for your help!  I restarted my computer and it worked.  I am running LabVIEW 10.0 and DAQmx 9.3.
