Hi All!
We looking for PXI DAQ board for time-precision long-time, low-frequency (up to ~30 kHz sample rate) measurement. We have PXI-6682 + PXI-6653 for stabilizing 10 MHz clock and time sync.
What DAQ board with 4-8 channels and simultneous sampling is suitable for this tasks? Is the S-series DAQ suitable?

Hello Jury,
Could you give more specifications that you are looking for in a PXI DAQ card? Are you just measuring just analog signals or do you need to measure digital signals as well? What type of sensor are you utilizing or are you just taking straight voltage measurements? Based on your previous post I can point you towards the PXI-6143.

Hi lzzy!
We measured only analog signal. We use different sensors, but you can consider, that it will be "voltage measurements". PXI-6143 seems suitable, but DAQ board with suitable input gain will be more suitable. Also, more suitable , will be board with different sample rate (for example - 3 channels with ~200 samples per second and 3 channels with ~30000 samples per second).
With best regards,
Yury

Hello Yuri,
Our DAQ cards utilize a task based model in order to configure Analog Inputs. Properties such as timing and triggering are homogenious to all the channels in the task, while input range and measurment type are heterogeneous to the task. Also, you can only have one analog input task per device. Thus, you can not have two different Analog Input Tasks which is what you will need to do in order to have "3 channels with ~200 samples per second and 3 channels with ~30000 samples per second" on the same device. You can utilize two cards and have the analog input on card A run at 200Hz and card b run at 30KHz. The PXI-6122 (4AI) and PXI-6123 (8 AI) fulfill your need for multiple analog input ranges.
