Hi dhans,

Thanks for your query. There are many factors to take into account when selecting hardware. I would recommend calling your local NI office to discuss your application needs so we can work together to select the most suitable hardware for your application.

This link will give you the contact details of your local office: http://www.ni.com/company/worldwide-offices/

Best regards,

Tom

Thanks, Tom.

I have read a document from NI in which they have given enough details to choose a correct hardware.

In my experience, anything low-cost and USB powered will only read +/- 10Vdc.  You will need some sort of signal conditioner to scale the voltage down to this range and then you can scale it back up in software.

I don't know what your definition of low-cost is but I have used the USB-6212 in several applications and it works for what I am using it for.  There is a list of USB devices on this page.

Heads up! NI has moved LabVIEW to a mandatory SaaS subscription policy, along with a big price increase. Make your voice heard.

Thanks..Aputman.. I have found one compaq DAQ chassis and a DAQ card NI-9221 which can read an input voltage of -60V to +60V.
