DAQ sleep mode

Hi,

I'm actually using a labview program made by another person. He was working with a cDAQ-9174 with 2 NI 9472 and 1 NI 9203.

When i'm launching the program i ve got an error 201003 but everything is correctly plug.

I think it's because of the cards are in sleep mode?

If someone could help me,

Thanks

The DAQs don't really go into "sleep mode" ....

... you should go through Device Manager and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" though.

Thanks for the response. I had tried what you said, but infortunately it isn't working at this time. So i was wrong, the problem is not comming from the "sleep mode"...

I'm still having the error 201003 but everything is correctly plugged and the LEDs on the 2 NI 9472 are not switch on...

That the LEDs are not turned on is on itself not necessarily an indication that something is wrong.

It just means that you are not sending out any signals.

Seeing that you are getting errors it is logical that no signal is outputted.

Maybe we should first start at the beginning:

- Are the LEDs from the cDAQ -9174 on?

If yes, which ones?

- Are you able to see the cDAQ-9174 in MAX?

If yes, are you able to use any of the C series modules (9472, 9203) in MAX?

A question on the side:

How familiar are you with the cDAQ?

I have found the problem, it s because the computer is naming de cDAQ: cDAQ2/mod...

and the man who wrote the program did that with cDAQ1/mod...

Thanks to the computer which wanted to recognize as cDAQ2 and not cDAQ1...

Problem solved
