Dear NI experts,
I have an NI DAQ6062E PCMCIA card that does ADC and DAC for data collection in my lab. However, I am confused with the resolution bits posted on the NI webpage http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/11918 . On the description on the right of the image of the 6062E card, it says "..., 16-bit analog input,.." However, if you click open the specifications tab below, under the "Analog Input" section, it says "Resolution.... 12 bits". Same for specifications under the "Analog Output" section: 12 bits. Dear sir or madame, I think I am confused. Does NI DAQ 6062E have a 12-bit or 16-bit ADC?
Sincerely,
Fuh

Hello Fuh,
The full text of that description says "Consider the NI USB-6251 for 1.25 MS/s, 16-bit analog input; built-in connectivity; and more". The 16-bits in that bullet point is referring to the resolution of the USB-6251, which we recommend instead of the DAQCard 6062E. The DAQCard 6062E has 12-bits of resolution.
