Error 201388 Remains after reserving chassis

I have a new cDAQ-9188.  When running self-test on any of the installed modules I receive error 201388 (network device is not reserved for this host).  After clicking Reserve Chassis, and then running self-test this error remains.  Also, after clicking Unreserve Chassis, I get the same error.

If you reset the chassis using the button on the chassis itself, and then try to reserve it, does the problem persist?

I am not with the system now, so I cannot answer your question.

However, I was able to overcome the problem by launching the Reserve Chassis method from a different spot with MAX.  I was having trouble with Reserve Chassis when I had the NI cDAQ-9188 .... highlighted in the tree view and using the Reserve Chassis button in the right pane.  Reserve Chassis worked when I highlighted Network Devices in the tree view and chose Reserve Chassis by right-clicking the NI cDAQ 9188 in the right pane.
