Error during getdata

I was using the NI BOX with a different computer (B) and updated NI DAQ max.

And I was trying use the same NI BOX in the original computer (A) and try to run matlab program and failed as below.

"Error using daq.analoginput_nidaqmx_2_27/getdata
A timeout occurred during GETDATA.

Error event occurred at 15:47:57 for the object: nidaqmxdev3-AI.
A timeout occurred during GETDATA."

Do I have to update the NI DAQ max as well?

Follow up question would be, if I update NI DAQ, would this be functioning with matlab 2013a?

If updating NI DAQ will not be compatible with matlab 2013a, is there a way to make the current NI box to be compatible with older NI DAQ max version?

The error does not say that you have an incompatible driver but rather there was a timeout trying to read data from the DAQ, this could be due to a lot of reasons, it is tough to guide without the code.

This question is best answered by MATLAB as the NI DAQ support in MATLAB was developed by MATLAB using NI's drivers.
