Getting error -223805 when installing NI 2223 into measurement explorer

Hello all,

I just received a NI 9223 data card which goes into the ethernet ENET carrier.  When I try to setup the card in measurement explorer I keep getting an error message -223805 "error at add networked device"

The possible resons for the error is listed as "internal software error occured at MIG software".  I did a reset of the Ni-Daq Mx configuration reset and this does not correct the issue.  I only see this error when inserting the NI2223 card into the ENET carrier (now called the cdaq9181).  I have no issues inserting slower datacards like the 9215 into the carrier and setting them up with measurement explorer.

Any ideas?

Hi Jay,

The ENET/WLS-9163 only supports a subset of C Series modules. If you try to add a ENET/WLS-9163 to MAX with an unsupported C Series module in the carrier, MAX will return this error. The chart linked below lists the modules supported. It Looks like the 9223 is only supported on our Compact Daq chassis, and not on ENET.

Thanks for getting back to me on this....when I went to a newer machine and tried the same thing i got a message that basically said "this module is not compatabile with the NI9223."  Looks like I will have to purchase a different ethernet carrier  for this card....
