How can I configure an SCXI-1112 with a PCI-6229 card?

Hello friends,

I am trying to configure an SCXI-1000 chassis (and consequently an SCXI-1112 thermocouple module) with a PCI-6229 card. Connector 0 of such card is already being used by a SCB-68 connector block. Whenever I try to configure the Chassis in NI MAX with the 6229 card, it says that it can not find any modules connected to it...

Hi gmartinez,

With M Series, DAQmx uses DIO lines on connector 0 to communicate with the SCXI chassis and modules. It doesn't support using connector 1 for SCXI communication, just for digitization in parallel mode.

Can you connect the SCXI-1112+SCXI-1349 to connector 0 of the PCI-6229 and connect the SCB-68 to connector 1 of the PCI-6229?
