How can I protect my CDAQ TC modules from accidental contact with mains supply

Hi We are currently
in the process of upgrading our lab data logging system

from an old National Instruments system to a new CDAQ system.

In our work we do a lot of measuring of temperatures in electrical appliances…

in some cases we need to measure temperatures adjacent to mains voltage.

In our old system we used a programmable transmitter as protection of the data

logger from any accidental connection to mains supply.

I have attached a diagram of how the transmitter was connected to the old unit

and also the legend for the transmitter terminals.

Could someone review both and advise if this can be integrated into our new

system.

You could use your existing 5114 module for isolation and select a CDAQ current input module.
