I have a PCI 6221-37 pin DAQ board generating a 1 o/p signal and acquiring 5 i/p signals in a triggered fashion (using DAQ-mx start edge, get device name with prefix etc) which works fine. I want to synchronize this aquisition with another DAQ board PCI 6036E for collection of 2 channels of data. I have been trying to use the DAQ-mx start edge vi with a common source i.e. the PCI 6221 tasks. It does not work. It gives off an error (# 89125)
Possible reason(s😞
No registered trigger lines could be found between the devices in the route.
If you have a PXI chassis, identify the chassis correctly in MAX, and make sure it has been configured properly. If you are using PCI devices, make sure they are connected with a RTSI cable and that the RTSI cable is registered in MAX. Otherwise, make sure there is an available trigger line on the trigger bus shared between the devices.

Hi Rito,
You may find this Knowledge Base article helpful about your error. As well, if you have additional questions about synchronizing your devices, you may want reference this tutorial . How do you have your hardware configured (what lines are you trying to trigger off of?)? As well, if you continue to see this problem after using RTSI, you may want to post your code to the forum. Take care!
