Is there anything I can do to make Win XP more stable?

Hello,

I've got VI Logger logging 2 PCI-4351 cards and a USB-6218.   They are running on a Windows XP Pro computer.  This machine runs 24/7, and occasionally I can get a Windows crash.  This machine is dedicated to VI Logger.  Are there any background programs I can remove, or any possible ways to make Windows more stable over time?

Thanks,

Mike

Hello Mike,

Thank you for posting to the forum. I personally don't know much about optimizing Windows to make it more stable. I would try searching online or msdn for more information.
I would also try to identify if the crash is caused by a particular program or combination of events. Is there an particular error code related to the crash?

If you have questions on VI Logger usage with PCI-4351 and USB-6218, please let me know and I will be glad to help you with that.

Have a good day!

Regards,
