LabVIEW Version Unsupported by NI-DAQmx 9.1.7

Hello!

We just bought a USB-6525 device and together with this is the NI-DAQmx 9.1.7 software. When i start the install it says,

LabVIEW Version Unsupported by NI-DAQmx

This installer has detected that you have a version of LabVIEW that is not supported by NI-DAQmx. Please refer to the feature tree in this installer to see which versions of LabVIEW are supported by NI-DAQmx in this release. This installer will remove NI-DAQmx LabVIEW support (if present) from any unsupported versions of LabVIEW.

I have license for Labview 8.2.1. Will i loose that? Or can i install an older version of NI-DAQmx that support the USB-6525?

Hi Immelmann,

The thing is, that your labiew is older than the driver supports. For full list of compatibility version, you can see knowledgebase NI-DAQ and LabVIEW Version Compatibility (for Windows). The older versions could be found on ni.com/support, where you can browse for DAQmx drivers version up to 9.1.1.

Everything should work then.

Hello again!

So, if I decide to keep my Labview versions as it is i could install NI-DAQmx up to ver 9.1.1 without loosing anything?

Or, what version do i need for the USB-6525 device?

Did you look at the readme for DAQmx 9.1.1?
