Measuring 0-600VDC?

Hi All,

I need to monitor a battery pack with a voltage of 0-600VDC.  I need timing resolution of roughly 1ms.  Any recommendations for a setup that could do that?  I would prefer to keep all components USB.

Thanks!

Use any USB based DMM whose input DC range is 230VDC or 330 VDC, then use either voltage divider network or 10x attenuator to measure the voltage.

Any USB based good DMM will easily provide you the 1ms measurement rate.

Hi diarmaede-

That is right - you can use our USB 4065 and utilize a voltage divider to adjust your range.  If using a voltage divider doesn't work, you can use our PXI 4071 Flex-DMM.  It is not USB, but will give you up to 1000 V measurement range.

     I hope this helps.
