Multiple Triggers

Hi,

I would like to setup two triggers - one to start monitoring a set of channels and another one later to start monitoring another set of channels. Is this possible with the nidaq? Is not, is there a workaround I could use?

What model of DAQ device you are using?

If you are using cDAQ or cRIO, you can place two sets of channels on two different tasks with individual separate trigger settings. Number of Concurrent Tasks on a CompactDAQ Chassis Gen II

I am using the X Series Multifunction DAQ

Unfortunately, you can only use one hardware-timed task on the X series. You would need to clear the task and then start a new task to capture the second set of data.
