NI 9206 with compactRIO showing the largest value on the connected terminals, on all unconnected terminals?

I am using NI 9206 in differential mode. The problem is that if I connect only one terminal, the same value is displayed on all unconnected terminals. If more than one terminals are connected, the largest value appears on the unconnected ones. Is this normal?

Corrigendum: not the largest, but the value of the last connected terminal.

It's normal. Do a search for 'ghosting'.
