NI-MAX does not recognize the USB-6453

Hello,

I recently purchased an NI USB-6453 and connected it to my computer, but NI-MAX does not recognize the USB-6453.

Instead, it shows an error code, "Firebolt 32-channel 'USB\VID_3923%PID_7B44\233ED84'," as seen in the attached screenshot.

I have tried both USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 ports, but it keeps failing.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

Is there an additional driver I need to install?

For reference, LabVIEW and DAQ-MX are currently installed in their latest versions (2024Q3).

Please help me.

Thank you.

I have this same issue. Did you manage to solve it? I tried uninstalling/reinstalling all NI programs, drivers, packages etc.. my OS, different PCs and USB-C cables but I still get the same error. Any suggestions?

It has been resolved. The USB-6453 required the latest LabVIEW software available at the time of its release. At that time, I was using LabVIEW 2024Q3, but the USB-6453 was not recognized. Upon investigation, I discovered that an update for LabVIEW 2024Q3.1 was available, and after applying the update, the USB-6453 was successfully recognized.
