Hello,
My customer reported issues with the tester. When I logged in NI software was wiped out but some directories were doubled ( like "Shared/MAX(2)" and "Shared/MAX"). I reinstalled Ni-DAQmx, version 8.0 from original CD. Now when I try to run it I am getting "unable to open resource files" error message and it freezes.
Any suggestions will be appreciated

What versions of the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine and/or LabVIEW do you currently have installed? I would suggest performing a repair of the LabVIEW 7.1.1 Run-Time Engine (from Start » Settings » Control Panel » Add/Remove Programs » National Instruments Software: Change/Remove) since MAX uses this when showing DAQmx 8.0 configuration. I have seen this method of repairing the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine work in solving this exact type of issue in the past. Hope this helps,
