Hello, I'm trying to install a PCIe-6738 card in my PC. Before installing this card, the PC worked fine and gave an image. When I install the PCIe card, there is no video signal. I'm thinking because the PC defaults to using PCIe graphics.
I've tried forcing the on-board graphics from my i5-7500 on an ASUS H110M-C motherboard following this guide. But it didn't solve the problem. I've updated the Intel graphics drivers while the PCIe card is not installed, but still a black screen. Updated the BIOS to the latest version, no-go. Set the PCIe speed to Gen 1 instead of Auto as per this thread, nothing.
The screen doesn't even show the POST splash screen, so I cannot enter the BIOS with the PCIe card installed. Is the card DOA (received yesterday)? Or is there something I overlooked?

Hello,
I would recommend that you look over the following Knowledge based article:
PC Will Not Boot up When PCIe Card is Inserted: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019WFPSA2&l=en-GB
Some motherboards may not automatically recognise the PCIe Card Version. This will cause the system to try and boot the PC with the PCIe card possibly set to the incorrect version, thus inhibiting the PC from booting up.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,

Thank you very much! Downgrading the PCIe Gen fixed the problem. Somehow I missed that setting in the BIOS before.
