I have been working for more than 2 years with a PCI 6229 on a RHEL 7 workstation. Now the card has stopped working, and the Daqmx device it had associated is no longer accessible from the VIs I had developed. The card shows in a lspci with:
kernel driver is use: nixsnonusb
kernel modules: windrvr6
I have tried to search for information on the nixnonusb and have not been able to find anything about it. Can this be the problem?. Which driver should the card be using?
On the other hand, I have also tried nilsdev, and it shows Dev1, with the correct Serial Number for the PCI 6229, but it says DeviceNotPresent. There are also other 7 devices, Dev2,Dev3... Dev8 all of labeld as PCI 6229 but no serial number is attached to them, and they also have DeviceNotPresent 1.
I had a spare PCI 6229 that worked previously without problems. I have tried at installing this new card, but the same problem appears. I also tried at moving both cards to another computer with another Labview installation and they worked perfectly.
Is this a driver problem?. Should I reinstall Daqmx?
