Reading a load cell with NI 9201?

Hello,

I would like to read values from this load cell https://www.ricelake.com/en-us/products/product-details/rice-lake-rl1042-aluminum-single-point-load-... I have an NI 9201. Is that the correct cassette for reading this type of load cell? If not, what would I need to accomplish this? I am using a NI cDAQ 9184.

Hi,

The NI 9201 is a voltage input module, what means it might work but there are specifically designed modules for load cells, like the 9219.

Alternatively you can use a bridge conditioner with your load cell to amplify the voltages to levels more readable by the 9201 (like a 5V or 10V signal)
