Sampling Frequency of NI 4467 DAQ and LSB of Output signal range

Hi,

I am currently working with the PXIe-4467 module for signal generation and have the following questions:

  1. Output Signal Ranges:
    The output characteristics of the PXIe-4467 mention signal ranges of ±10 V, ±3.16 V, ±1.0 V, and ±0.316 V.

    • What will be the Least Significant Bit (LSB) for each of these ranges?
    • How can the LSB values be calculated?

  1. Sampling Frequency:
If both channels are used simultaneously for signal generating, will this impact the module’s maximum sampling frequency of 250 kS/s?

    • If yes, how will the sampling frequency be affected?

Looking forward to your clarification. Thank You.

You can calculate the resolution/LSB from the bitness and the range, the 4467 uses delta-sigma data converters and it is 24-bit in this case and theoretically, the LSB here for a +/-1V range would be 120nV

Since each channel has a dedicated data converter, you can use the full sampling rate on both channels without any derating.
