What is the regulation of the serial number of all DAQ product?

Are all of them made by hexadecimal 7 numbers and the only one in CompactDAQ, PCI...etc?

Let me make the question easy to understand.

1. Is the serial number of NI DAQ product are made by 7 hexadecimal characters? (e.g. 12345AB)

2. Is the serial number unique in all kind of production type? (e.g. USB/PCI/M Series/S Series)
