cDAQ-9139 won't show up in Max Host computer. Both controller and host laptop running NI-DAQmx ver 9.6. Can ping both ways and cDAQ-9139 shows up in NI Network Browser on Host laptop which is connected to cDAQ-9139 via hardwired straight thru Ethernet cable. Host has no Anti-virus and Firewall is set to off.

Ah, thanks, sfrosty. I think I understand your configuration now. You are running Windows 7 on the laptop and WES7 on the cDAQ-9139. In this case, you should program your application on or deploy a compiled executable directly to the cDAQ-9139. There is no way to use the laptop to program for and deploy a LabVIEW application to the cDAQ-9139 system. Instead, you could consider using Remote Desktop to access the cDAQ-9139 system directly or you could attach a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the cDAQ-9139 and use it as an embedded computer.

This is Robin and I had the same issue, your suggestion worked (fantastic). This NI cDAQ-9139 that I have is from Brussels and given to me at my work location. Your suggestion worked and I was expecting that all would be in English after I got it running but it is all in French in NI MAX etc.. My questions are how or can I change the language in the software (NI MAX) or was this software purchased in French and would I have to get the software in English?
