Your software sampling is at the same frequency.
Why didn't you simply ask at the beginning how to do hardware timed acquisition? I think some of your preconceptions got in the way. In any case, you should really study the information at DAQmx Getting Started. You will learn that you will use the DAQmx Timing funcion to set rate, number of samples, and acquisition type (continuous or finite). Look at the DAQmx example programs that come with LabVIEW. Look up the Mean function.
