I am trying to use the analog acquisition clock from a PCI-6281 as the source for the counters of a PCI-6602 so the analog acquisition is syncronized with the digital count. My software works with a PCI-MIO-16E-4 or PCI-MIO-16E-1, but it does not seem to work with the newer PCI-6281. The software currently uses a RTSI cable to transfer the clock. I have run the software with simulated devices PCI-6281 and PCI-6602 with success, but it does not work with real hardware. The error message is below:
Possible reason(s):
Source terminal to be routed could not be found on the device.
Make sure the terminal name is valid for the specified device. Refer to Measurement & Automation Explorer for valid terminal names.
Property: ArmStart.DigEdge.Src
Property: ArmStart.DigEdge.Edge
Source Device: SC1Mod1
Source Terminal: ai/StartTrigger
Task Name: Car PPT
Any way we can use the newer 6281 card with the 6602?

Hi Dan,
Your approach seems valid to get the 6602 and 6281 to start at the same time using the Arm Start Trigger. The error message you posted seems to be trying to route signals involving an SCXI module. The Source Device is listed as SC1Mod1. Was this intentional? I would check the device reference to determine where you refer to this device.
