Hello all
I am developing a labview code that generates a wave output with the NI cDAQ-9189 and module NI9269. From time to time I loose the synchronization to the chassis and I get a synchronization error when I want to read out the sampling rate through a property node(DAQmx Timing: Sampclk.Rate). Generally, the code works on my computer and my setup and I am able to develop and operate the module through labview. However, I need to re-plug the Ethernet cable from time to time to switch between internet access and chassis connection.
The following steps give the following results:
- resetting the DAQ --> doesn't solve the issue
- restarting labwiew --> doesn't solve the issue
- restarting the computer --> solves the issue
- operating the module through NI-max works.
Used example: Voltage (non-regeneration) - Continious Output.vi
Node that generates the error:: DAQmx Timing: Sampclk.Rate
Labview: 2020
NImax Device Driver: 20.7
Chassis: NI cDAQ-9189
IO Module: NI 9269
I do not want to restart my computer everytime to just eliminate an error like this. Does anybody know what the issue could be?
Thank you in advance!

Try Error -209836 in DAQmx Start Task on TSN-Enabled cRIO or cDAQ

Hi,
Thank you for the answer. We tried already that error case, but the error appears before starting any task but right after setting the sample clock.
