I’m using a PCI-6023E from an older project that uses NI-DAQ. MAX indicated the presence of the card in both DAQmx and Traditional and it all worked great. This was in a computer using Win-XP. I transferred the card to a new computer with Win 7-Pro. MAX in the new computer indicates the presence of the card in DAQmx but not Traditional. How do I get MAX with the computer with Win 7 to recognize the PCI-6023E as Traditional DAQ? Both computers have been updated with the Device Drivers DVD from my professional suite. (4th Quarter 2009) I’m not familiar with Traditional DAQ and even less familiar with Win 7. (This is my first exposure to Win 7.) Win 7 may not have anything to do with it. Please advise.
Thanks,
Dave

Preliminary testing shows that the the Windows Vista beta driver for Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) works with Windows 7. This driver is unsupported and should not be seen as a permanent solution. All of the caveats of the Windows Vista driver also apply to Windows 7.
