Trigger Event with DAQ 6008/6001

Hi there; in advance, thanks for your time.

I know that event triggering (using an event structure) with DAQ 6008/6001 is quite limited, but I would like to know if anyone has managed to 

trigger somehow an event with these Daq; I only need an event triggering for a digital input.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, USB-600x are low-cost DAQ and do not support digital change detection event. You can still do polling with DAQmx Read VI and fire an User Event.
