USB 6008 mating connector

Does anyone know that manufacturer, part number, and a source for the mating connector to the ones on the USB-6008?

Thank you for the suggestion but I have an application in mind that requires a larger area than the prototyping kit provides.

I want to connect my own circuit board to the USB-6008 in a similar way to the prototyping accessory but a larger board.

Hi,

The accessory kit that I was referring to isn't the prototyping kit.  It includes four connectors, two labels and a screw driver.  You can connect your circuit board directly to the connector.

I was planning to have a board with the mating connector soldered directly to it much like the protyping  board. That is why I was inquiring about the connector.

To answer your question they are Phoenix Contacts Connectors. If it is a 16 pin connector then this is the mate.  1803714

Otherwise check with folks like Newark and do a search on that part to get to the correct catalog page.

The connector I am looking for is the one used on the USB-6000 Series Prototyping Accessory.

You may want to look at the OEM version of the USB6008 as well.  It is sold as just the PCB and it has a standard 34 pin, 0.100" connector.  I've used them in fixtures where I had a custom interface to the outside world built on a PCB. Then I had a simple ribbon cable jumper from my board to the 6008.

So you either want  1786543  or 1786080

one is straight one is right angle.

go to

http://www.phoenixcontact.com/usa_home

and enter the part numbers

Good luck buying less than quanties of 50 unless you can find a stocking distributor.  Allied Electronics carries the brand as do many others.

Can I have a cookie now. . . . . . How do I get myself sucked into this?
