I’m a student currently working with a USB-6366 DAQ device that uses BNC connectors.
I am interested in triggering data acquisition tasks using a light barrier and would like to know if anyone has experience using a light barrier in combination with a DAQ device.
Are there any light barriers you can recommend?
Are there any specific factors I should consider when selecting a light barrier that is compatible with a DAQ device?
Any advice or insights from those who have experience with this setup would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

The 6366 supports both analog and digital triggering. I have no experience with light barriers but one that outputs a digital state change can be used to trigger your DAQ. Use the PFI inputs on your device for a digital trigger.
