Unipolar to Bipolar DAQ Board change

We are being forced into switching one of our DAQ board requirements
from a 0-10V Unipolar to +-5V Bipolar due to availability and cost. We
use 3 channels into the board and all of our analog signals are 0-10V
from the signal conditioner. I am unsure of how the 0-10V signal
coming into the board is going to be handled in Bipolar mode - will
the 0V = -5V and 10V=+5V or will it just read the 0-5V and not read
the 5V-10V signal?

I'm assuming you have to use a -5V - +5V signal into the board to have
a proper configuration, unfortunately we have to stick with signal
conditioner we use and its only available in a 0-10V configuration. We
are willing to loose 1/2 the counts if somehow we can get the 0-10V
signal packed into the 0-5V side of a Bipolar board. Has anyone
experienced anything similar to this? Obviously I'm very new to this
field so I apologize for any confusing statements.
