cDAQ 9174 with 9203 current input module

[New to compact DAQ]:   In order to use the cDAQ 9174 with 9203 current input module - Is a separate external power supply required for the 4-20mA transmitters for which you want to read, or is this power provided by the chassis/module?

To connect 8 single-ended 4-20mA transmitters to one 9203 module, is there an external terminal block required to connect all COM inputs?

Hi Michael-j,

This is from the 9203 Manual so if your transducers do not supply their own power you will need to give them a voltage source to source current from.

If you are connecting you may want to use a ferrule to connect multiple wires, or a terminal block if you are using the above configuration.  Post back if you have questions.
