calibrating NI PCIe-6251 in Mac OS

To whom it may concern

Could you tell me how to self-calibrate the NI PCIe-6251 on a

MAC OS system

System Version:    Mac OS X 10.5.6 (9G55)
Kernel Version:     Darwin 9.6.0

I'm successfully using the C examples in NI-DAQmx Base so a

program with the C code would be best.

Thanks very much

Hi Lund,

Unfortunately, we do not support calibration using the DAQmx Base driver.  This is because the driver does not support many of the direct calls we need to use to calibrate the device.  If you would like to see support for calibration in DAQmx Base, please visit ni.com and click on "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page.  On the subsequent page, click on "Give us Feedback to improve our products."

I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately we will need to use either a machine that supports DAQmx or send in the card for calibration.  If you'd like to send the card in, I can set that up for you.  The easiest way to create an RMA is online at ni.com/ask.

Have a great day!
