Hi all,
I'm a new Labview user and i have some problems in producing an output from a usb-6229. By reading the manual of M series i found out that i can have a HW-timed output with the internal sample clock, from the analog outputs of the usb-6229, but when i try to do it there is an error message telling my that my hardware does not support this function. Am i doing something wrong or my hardware does not have this capability?
thanks in advance for your attention.

Hello ThemisJ,
From what I can tell, the error you are getting is the result of selecting a source for your task sample clock that is not supported by the USB-6229, or one for which there is not a route. You can check which signals can be routed as your analog output sample clock in Measurement & Automation Explorer by selecting your USB-6229 in your Devices and Interfaces >> DAQmx Devices configuration tree, and opening the Device Routes tab at the bottom of the screen. The green and yellow blocks in the grid indicate which routes can be made, and thus, which signals can be used as your sample clock source. Also, note that if the signal names for all valid routes do not appear in the sample clock source control, you probably don't have the Include Advanced Terminals option selected in the I/O Name Filtering for that control. You can change this by right clicking on the sample clock source control, selecting I/O Name Filtering, and placing a check in the box next to Include Advanced Terminals.
Best wishes,
