most efficent way to log SCXI thermocouple data

I want to log thermocouple data collected using SCXI-1102C cards.  It is for an extended period of time (2 weeks) but I'm only collected periodically (once every 10 min).  I'm only collecting about 15 channels of data and I'd like to sample as slow as possible without having aliasing problems.  I was thinking of using the Configure Logging (TDMS) VI as used in the following example https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-11300.  However, when I collect the data it must be timestamped using IRIG.  Is using the Configure Logging (TDMS) VI overkill for my application?

Configure Logging.vi is not overkill for your application. Write To Measurement File.vi is also a good VI to use and is easy to configure.
