pci 6255 Analog output

Hello, I need to generate a sinus signal with an AO of the PCI 6255.

The property SampClk.MaxRate gives me 1 000 000 but in the documentation, it is written :

Maximum update rate

1 channel .....................................2.86 MS/s

2 channels ...................................2.00 MS/s

3 channels ...................................1.54 MS/s

4 channels ...................................1.25 MS/

 I dont understand.

Is there a difference between update rate and Clock Rate?

Hi  Erzaal,

The update rate is the inverseof the sum of the propagation delay from the data transfer (DMA in this case) and the electrical components switching delay (multiplexers).

This is why the rate gets lower when several AO are used.
