which PCI ports ?

I have to buy a new PC to drive several NI I/O cards (digital, analog, switchers, RS322 ...). The specs for the computers indicate several types of PCI ports. Does this matter ? Should I select some specific PCI ports to be compatible with the NI cards ? - thanks

It matters since there are both PCI and PCI Express cards available. PCI Express is the current standard so you would have to make sure the DAQ cards are available in that format.
