I have been trying to figure out why my gain calcuations for the following circuit do not matrch-up. I have calcuated a gain of about 235 due to the by-pass capacitor. With a 60mvpeak input I should get 14.13vpeak but the scope output readings do not match. What am I doing wrong?

Where are you using the scope on your schematic? Is this error present on you simulation only or do you see it also with phisical components?

We built the circuit again using FET Amplifier and measured gain of 5 but when we used the Multisim we recieved gain of about 2.

When you said that you build it againg using fet amplifiers I assume you compared it with the multisim simulationusing fet amplifiers as well, please correct me if I am mistaken. 

Can you please show the results you get while measuring the circuit? For example, when I ran the schematic you attached the measured voltage is 5.238 and I do not see anything wrong with the component setup that you used.
