Did you mean:

cant find a coomponent nor its multisim equivalent

Smiley Very Happy This sure brings me back. I also did a digital clock for one of my major projects in school, and it turned out famously. Unfortunately it was back in Electronics Work Bench 5 or 6, so I don't know if I could read it anymore (haven't tried). It did this:

Preset to 12:00 (flashing and not counting)
12hr or 24hr operation
60x and 3600x speed switches
Flashing colon every second with the decimals of the second and third 7-segment display (the tens of minutes display was inverted for the upper dot Smiley Happy )

All using a 60Hz timing source, JK flip-flops, counters, 7-segment displays and drivers, and NAND gates. Fun times.

I am not exactly sure how you meant this statement, but if you are refering to being able to import it into Multisim 10 then it should be possible if it was done in Version 6. Version 6 and Multisim 2001 are basically the same thing and I have had very few if any problem inporting these files. Now Version 5 or below I do not believe is totally supported as far as importing files. I could be wrong but that is what I think I read in another post before.

If this wasn't what was you meant then I apologize for my misinterpretation of it

You overthink things too much, Lacy. Smiley Happy

In other news, I was able to import it from Multisim 5 and it looks just fine! Yay!

I personally would rather have someone who overthinks things a bit than throw out a half baked idea that could cost more time and money.

Glad you got it sorted.

It wasn't criticism. 🙂 But how else could I have meant it? I couldn't have been saying that I might be unable to understand the symbols, signs, and portents, considering we are probably all students of the electronic arts here. 🙂

I thought it was funny. I am extremely careful in my replies to any questions or situations because I have put my foot in my mouth too many time on the fourm and I got tired of treating my athlete's tongue after a while.Smiley Very Happy
