Today’s spacecraft are modern marvels that rely on sophisticated power generation, distribution, management, and storage systems and complex integrated avionics units to complete their missions. To ensure reliable spacecraft operations, engineers must validate the performance and functionality of these elements as part of the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) phase of spacecraft development. In this meeting, NI Applications Engineers Jeff Langston and Eric Liauw provided a demonstration of how spacecraft power and avionics systems can be simulated and tested using NI PXIe and cRIO hardware, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
